ESPANOL
The house was designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch for the aristocratic newspaper and publishing magnates, the Godo brothers. Built at the turn of the century and originally named Villa Gloria, the house was used to host lavish summer parties and weddings for the extended Godo family. Later, in times of national and international conflict, it was an important headquarters for regional control and even sheltered Marshall Tito after fighting in Galicia. In the second half of the 20th century it was owned by the Capella family until 2004 when it was purchased by its present owners and restored to its original glory using traditional methods and original materials.
